About the Chef
Chef Jeremy Kane began his culinary career at the age of 13. His love of cooking began in his grandmother’s kitchen helping to prepare holiday meals and working in resorts in the famed Catskill Mountains.
At the age of 18, Chef Kane moved to Florida where he continued to develop his culinary talents by working in a variety of hotels and private country clubs. Longing to return to his roots in the great northeast, Chef Kane relocated to New England where he worked in several upscale restaurants before settling in the Capital region.
At that time he joined the team at the Albany Marriott and became sous chef at the award-winning Ashley’s. After the Marriott, he became the executive chef at the Albany Country Club for several years and most recently was the Executive Chef at classe catering in Colonie.
Chef Kane has competed in numerous ACF competitions and, along the way has earned several awards. Most recently winning the cornucopia grand award in 2005, 2008 and 2009.
